Maruti Suzuki is now preparing for more new car launches after the company introduced the new look, Swift. The next car in the queue is the 2024 Maruti Dzire which is an awaited sedan model for Maruti that is going to gather a new look and features. A sneak peek over the spy shots has been an early glimpse into what the auto giant is planning on offering to its audience, and our visualization will help to get a better glimpse at the concept of this highly expected sub-4m sedan.
A Mature Upgrade
In some ways, sedans are viewed as a change of route or level, so to speak, on a car owner’s ladder. However, one cannot deny that this specific body style is not suitable for Indian roads and terrain but sedans signify premiums. The sub-4m sedan segment acts as a gateway to the three-box cars, and the new styling of the Dzire is all set to make its presence felt.
Design and Features
The 2024 Dzire is coming with a new generation model with the new 4th generation Swift and borrows most of its design from it. Designed by artist Pratyush Rout depicting the front, the car has a comparatively neater and classier grill than the Swift. The headlights, fog lights, and clamshell bonnet are almost the same as in Swift but Dzire has little refined bumper and grills.
This is on the new Dzire and the feature that I found rather interesting is that it comes with a sunroof, making the car look rather luxurious. The alloy wheels also somehow look more classy and the overall side view of the car is well sculpted and sharp. The wheelbase is expected to be around 2,450mm as similar to Swift.
Interior and Technology
The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to replicate the Swift dashboard and characteristics list. This involves, among others, an 8.4-inch touchscreen interface, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay without cable, rear air conditioning vents, push-button start and cruise control. Also, the Dzire will come standard with a rear centre armrest and we expect to get a front armrest as well.
Engine and Performance
The new Dzire model will be equipped with the Z12E 1. 2L 3-cylinder diesel powerplant that develops about 80 bhp of max power and 112 Nm of peak torque. This engine will be offered exclusively with a manual 5-speed or 5-speed automated manual gearbox. Due to the sleek and aerodynamic design of the Dzire’s exterior, Maruti might be able to better the Swift’s fuel economy figures which are currently stated to be 25 km.
The new-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire too is set to be a fierce player in the sub-4m sedan category. On the side of the automobile manufacturers, this car model’s advanced features, classy look, and great fuel consumption make it a car that many consumers will be eager to own. Before ordering, they announced the release of the new design of Dzire set to enhance the Maruti Suzuki by bringing out stylish and reliable vehicles.
