The Goan Classic 350, a bobber-style motorbike with significant swag and pull, is the Royal Enfield Classic 350's brother.
Although it might not be the most useful, it is undoubtedly one of the most attractive bikes available in the entry-level contemporary classic market. Introducing the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350, a beautiful spin on the Classic 350. The hippie lifestyle that swept over Goa in the 1960s and 1970s served as the inspiration for the Goan Classic, which is a bobber.
Designs:
This may be the motorcycle's greatest feature. This motorbike is drool-worthy because of its throwback bobber style, which includes a variety of colour options, flowing lines, and the charming appeal of a modern classic with Goa influences. The motorbike will guarantee second looks from everyone, including you, thanks to its circular LED headlamp, revamped tail section, ape-style handlebar motorcycle-shaped fuel tank, and rear fender hugging the thick whitewall tyre.
Four colours will be available at the Goan Classic: Trip Teal, Purple Haze, Shack Black, and Rave Red.
Why Different from Classic?
The Goan Classic features a slightly longer swingarm and a 16-inch rim at the back encased in thicker rubber, in addition to the brand-new rear section, the tiny ape-handlebar, and the spoked rim but tubeless whitewall tyres—a category first. The 19-inch front rim is still in use. Additionally, the seat height is reduced to 750 mm as opposed to the standard Classic 350's 805 mm unit. The Goan Classic weighs 197 kg, which is 2 kilograms more than the standard model. An additional first for a 350 cc RE motorbike is that it has the same metal switchgear as the 650 cc bikes.
Features
Even though the Goan Classic is portly, its low seat height makes it manageable until you have to push it out of a parking lot. It also has a comfortable seat.
Because taller riders are more prone to sit leaning back rather than erect, the mini-ape handlebar is a little too tall, which might be problematic for your derriere. However, we discovered a shorter ape handlebar to be more comfortable; therefore, RE will provide it.
Additionally, the footpegs are forward-set, like the comfortable Meteor 350. Like the standard Classic 350, the Goan Classic is packed with amenities. Along with dual-channel ABS, standard features include a Tripper Pod, a charging outlet, and full LED illumination.
Engine And Performance
The Goan Classic shares the same J-series chassis as RE's other 350-cc bikes. With a maximum torque output of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm, the 349 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine produces 20.2 horsepower at 6,100 rpm. There is a 5-speed gearbox mated to the engine. Instead of rushing to get someplace, you want to ride slowly and enjoy the views and sounds since the motor has a ton of torque at the bottom end and mid-range.
The engine is generally smooth, and vibrations are not very noticeable. The Goan Classic is said to have a 36-fuel economy. We have not yet tried 2 kilometres.
Ride and Handling
However, the Goan Classic does have more rear suspension travel—105 mm to be exact—than the standard Classic 350, which has 90 mm. However, the Goan Classic's suspension is more rigid, especially at the back. It is not as soft as the Classic, but it\'s not a deal-breaker. Only the larger undulations will give you a shiver; regular ones should be dispatched without any problems.
Price
It is the most costly 350 cc Royal Enfield available, with pricing beginning at ₹ 2.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The Jawa 42 Bobber and the Jawa Perak, both excellent bikes in their own right, are currently its two main competitors.
Conclusion
The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 is a stylish motorbike with a road presence that can compete with much larger models. Additionally, the colour choices are awesome. However, it is unlikely to be your main motorcycle. If you desire a motorcycle, the pillion seat takes away from its beautiful appearance.
