Skoda Kushaq Matte new edition

Skoda kushaq

Between the Style and Monte Carlo versions in the Kushaq lineup, Skoda India has released the Kushaq Matte edition. Customers have the choice of the 1.0 TSI or 1.5 TSI engines, as well as manual or automatic gearboxes, with the Kushaq Matte version. However, there are only 500 of the Kushaq Matte Edition available.

The external paint colour of Carbon Steel is matte-finished on the Kushaq as part of the Matte edition package, and the door handles, wing mirrors, and rear spoiler are gloss-finished in black. On the other hand, the chrome finish on the grille, tailgate garnish, and window lining has been left alone. A recent Volkswagen Taigun also received a similar treatment.

The Matte Edition\'s feature set is based on the top-tier Style trim, but it stands out for getting a bigger 10.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto from the Monte Carlo trim. Over the Style trim, it additionally receives a 6-speaker audio system with a subwoofer.

Since the Kushaq and the Slavia won\'t be receiving any significant updates any time soon, Skoda aims to keep the Kushaq lineup interesting by introducing the Matte version. Skoda hopes this new model will follow in the footsteps of the Kushaq Monte Carlo, which has achieved its just success and carved out a unique niche.

The Kushaq Matte edition will still compete against SUVs like its platform-sibling Volkswagen Taigun, the Hyundai Creta, the Kia Seltos—which is getting a facelift soon—the Maruti Grand Vitara, the Toyota Hyryder, and the impending Honda Elevate. It\'s important to note that several of its competitors receive similar special editions. The Grand Vitara receives the Black Edition, the Knight Edition is available for the Creta, and the Seltos has the X-Line.
