Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor vs Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Design Comparison

Although there are some minor variations, the Urban Cruiser Taisor and the Maruti Suzuki Fronx share nearly all of their body panels because it is a badge-engineered vehicle. A significantly modified front bumper and a revised trapezoidal front grille with a honeycomb pattern are among the modifications. Instead of the three cubes seen on the Fronx, the LED DRLs at the front have a new linear design.

The tail light lighting components have also been adjusted, but they are all joined by a full-width light bar, much like the original SUV. Additionally, a new set of 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels is added to the Taisor.

The Taisor is available in Cafe White, Lucent Orange, Sportin Red, Enticing Silver, and Gaming Grey. Nexa Blue, Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Earthen Brown, Opulent Red, and Bluish Black are the available colours for the Fronx. The turbo versions of both SUVs also come with dual-tone choices.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor vs Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Features

Unlike the Fronx, no feature changes have been made to the Taisor. Both the cars will sport a free-standing 9-inch touchscreen infotainment panel along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automated climate control, a 360-degree camera, a heads-up display, and a wireless charger, among others. Both of these small SUVs will sport six airbags, an electronic stability program, hill-hold assist, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor vs Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Powertrains

No difference is seen in the carry-forward of the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol at 100 hp and 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol at 90 hp from Maruti Suzuki Fronx to Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor. The former gets a 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional 5-speed AMT, while the latter comes mated to either a 6-speed torque converter automatic or a 5-speed manual gearbox. A CNG kit is also available factory-fit for the 1.2-liter NA petrol engine.
