Mahindra is all set to officially launch the new 'Blaze Edition' of the XUV700 midsize SUV

This is a new Blaze Edition of the midsize Mahindra XUV700, which the truck maker promises to officially launch soon. Production of this special version will be limited to 2,500 units expected to be distributed over a timeframe of the next few months. The Blaze Edition is already being talked about when price details and other pertinent information, like the price, started showing up on the internet.


Powertrain Engine 


The Brand Blaze of the Mahindra XUV700 is only proposed in the 7-seater estate configuration A 6-speed torque automatic gearbox version is offered only for the petrol range, while the diesel provides both 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox options. Unfortunately, it is not equipped with a hybrid system or an adaptive damper. Instead, it has a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that can generate 200ps and 380Nm of torque. While on one hand, the diesel version of the XUV700 gets the 2.2 Litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine mated to 6 6-speed automatic, the petrol engine churns out 185PS and 420Nm of torque. The vehicle has an increase in torque up to 450Nm with the automatic gearbox (transmission).


XUV700 Colour Option 


The Red Eye model of this model is completed in a matte red paint colour what`s very special. They have employed the minimalistic blacked-out finish to the key design parts such as the ORVM, roof, alloy wheels, pillars and the front grille. The ″Blue Edition″ badge is set on the tailgate and front fenders.


Interior Highlight 


The special edition of the XUV700 comes equipped with a blacked-out interior, even the upholstery glows in the dark. The all-black mood is brought up to date by alternating red blots for the air-con vents and the centre console. In this case, the fabric itself comes in red with matching stitching. Similar to the top-spec XUV700 AX7 L trim, the SUV will come with all that the SUV shares.


Sleek Exterior & Price 


The exterior of the latest Mahindra XUV700 X Blaze Edition features matte-red paintwork accompanied by the blacked-out treatment. The source says that it employs the AX7 L trim in only three versions as expected. The SUV is quoted in a range that is from Rs 24.24 lakh to Rs 26.04 lakh (on-road excluding showroom). The Blaze Edition currently costs Rs. 25,000 more than the 7-L AX7, making it 25,000 more expensive overall.
