DESCRIPTION

After over a decade, Skoda launched a new sub-4m model called Kylaq on November 6, which happens to be an SUV and was globally launched. This car marks the entry of Skoda into a very competitive area: subcompact SUVs. With competition from heavyweights like Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, and Tata Nexon, the business is of huge concern as it wants to position itself among the top players in this rapidly growing market. The base price is Rs 7.89 lakh for the Kylaq.A bigger Kushaq had also featured alongside the Slavia, sharing the same engine and transmission options, and all three would enjoy popularity because they are accessible under a variant of the MQB A0 IN platform. The TSI mill is capable of producing a strong 114 bhp and 178 Nm and comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. There will be four trim levels available for the Kylaq when it goes on sale: Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige. Many of the features supplied in lower variations are still unknown, even though Skoda has disclosed some of the information, especially those given in the top trim. Nonetheless, we have some images of the interiors of the various trim levels that give you a better idea of the options available.

What to anticipate in each version is as follows: Skoda Kylaq Classic: All four power windows Electric-adjust wing mirrors Analogue instrumentation with a digital MID Manual air-con 12V accessory socket Central locking Adjustable rear headrest, including for centre passenger Three-point seatbelts for all passengers Rear AC vents Front centre armrest 6 airbags ESC 16-inch steel wheels Skoda Kylaq Signature: To improve cabin atmosphere, the Signature expands upon the Classic by adding more amenities, chrome accents, and lighter interior colour inserts. In terms of features, it gains extras like: A touchscreen entertainment system Steering mounted controls Rear defogger Front USB Type C ports Rear parcel shelf Skoda Kylaq Signature+ In addition to having dual-tone cloth seats, lighter-tone plastics, and chrome accents, the Signature Plus appears to be the first trim level to offer the automatic transmission option. Notable additions to the feature set include: 10-inch touchscreen entertainment system Auto climate control Digital instrument cluster Rear centre armrest Cruise control Skoda Kylaq Prestige With the upgrade to the top model, leather upholstery takes the place of the cloth seats, and some high-end features are included. These consist of Ventilated front seats Powered front seats Auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror Electric sunroof Rear wiper and washer 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels Wireless charging pad Depending on the model, the Kylaq will be available with three different wheel options: 17-inch alloy wheels at the top, 16-inch steel wheels at the bottom left, and 16-inch alloy wheels at the bottom right. LED headlights, LED DRLs, 16-inch alloy wheels, ambient lighting, keyless enter and go, rear type-C USB ports, a rearview camera, and a cooled glovebox are further verified features of the Kylaq. However, it is yet unclear which trim level these amenities will be available from.
